# What is Age of Heroes?

## Introduction

EthXY: Age of Heroes is our latest chapter in the EthXY Saga.  This age will include brand new character mechanics, PvE (player vs. environment) raid gameplay and open world PvP (player vs. player) gameplay.  Your character plays center stage where gameplay will focus on strengthening your character and enjoying the strength of your character.

In your journey, you'll encounter a variety of epic bosses, be able to loot incredible gear, feel your power as it grows over time.

## Timeline

**Thursday March 14th:**  Announcement of character progression mechanics.

**Late March:** Further announcements of Age of Heroes.  Publishing the mechanics of PvE and PvP gameplay and loot system.

**Early April:** Character Leveling goes live.  Characters start accruing training points (TP) and gaining attribute points (AP).

**Early April:** First raid (????????)) goes live.  Characters start accruing experience points (XP) and levels (LVL).  Characters can loot uncommon (T1)-tier gear.  If you're lucky, you can loot the ???.

**Late April:** Open world release.  Players can engage in unrestricted PvP with each other.

**Early May** Second raid (????????)) goes live.  Characters can loot rare (T2)-tier gear.  If you're lucky, you can loot the ???.

**Late May:** Third raid (????????) goes live.  Characters can loot epic (T3)-tier gear.  If you're lucky, you can loot the ???.

**Early June:** Fourth raid (????????) goes live.  Characters can loot epic (T4)-tier gear.  If you're lucky, you can loot the ???.

**Early July:** Fifth raid (????????) goes live. Characters can loot legendary (T5)-tier gear.  If you're lucky, you can loot the ???.
