Introduction

An important component to a healthy token is the robust balance between Sinks and Sources of the token. Too much source and too little sink and you get token inflation. Too little source and too much sink and you get token stagnancy where new entrants find extremely high barriers of entry, inhibiting growth of the EthXY ecosystem.

The sign of a healthy ecosystem is one where there is a high velocity of the token changing between different hands. This section will cover a number of current and future planned features. Upcoming features will be detailed as we draw closer to launch time. General outlines were included to provide the complete picture for token utility.

Sexy Bonus Bets

Players are able to place "Bonus bets" on their hand using the SEXY token. Players can choose to bet 1 SEXY, 10 SEXY, or 100 SEXY per hand. The bonus bet sizing determines the size of the jackpot payout.

This represents our fastest sink of SEXY as players will need to constantly replenish in order to play the bonus games. Once a player wins a jackpot, the pooled SEXY will accumulate into a single hand. For all other players, they have to purchase SEXY on the open market.

The beauty of having payouts being denominated in SEXY is the fact that in the event SEXY's price may rise, (not financial advice nor a guarantee) the payout appeal also rises. If a player were to acquire SEXY when it is cheap, the playing the bonus can be favorable at a time when the token price is higher.

For particularly large Jackpots, vesting may be employed to minimize direct impact to market.

Limited Edition Prestige Gear

A variety of gear is made available to players for purchase using SEXY. The gear is available for a limited period of time and represent premium loot for players seeking to make their characters more rare.

Sexy Raids

Players will be able to expend 100 SEXY tokens to embark on special raids. These raids are played against the CPU and will represent increasing difficulty. At its highest difficulty, the players who can defeat the CPU will be eligible for top-of-the-line gear rewards.

Raids are gear dependent. You'll stand more of a chance against these bosses with better gear. Bring your A+ game.

Character Marketplace

Players will be able to acquire rare loot that are no longer obtainable through the Character Marketplace. The marketplace will be denominated with SEXY tokens.
