Introduction
The ability of a protocol to reward its users for behavior beneficial for the collective is one of the most powerful forces to grow the ecosystem.
Reward Seasons
At the end of each reward season, a portion budgeted for the EthXY community will be distributed according to that season's point mechanism. The criteria will be different for each season, based on EthXY's most critical needs.
These rewards will vest weekly over a minimum of 3 months to minimize direct inflationary pressure.
Legacy players of EthXY plots, EthXY NFT, and Eth.id domains will be treated as participants of Season 0 rewards. Season 0 rewards will vest over 3 months starting in December.
In Season 1, also known as the "Great Degen Race", players are currently competing for score and points. Participants will be given proportional rewards once Season 1 is over and Season 2 begins. Season 1 participants will also vest their rewards similar to Season 0 participants to minimize impact on the market.
We believe those who help EthXY grow and succeed should also reap the rewards.
