Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.ethxy.com/warlords/how-to-play.md). # How to Play **EthXY: Warlords is officially live.** This page walks you step‑by‑step through your first session — what to expect, where to click, and what each screen means. **Quick Start:** **Step 1 — Open the site & press Play game** Go to ethxy.com and click the pink **Play game** button to enter Warlords: The Early Harvest.

#### Step 2 — Choose how to play After clicking **Play game**, you’ll see the option **Play on your phone**.\ You can choose to continue on your computer or switch to your phone. **2.1 — Play on your phone** After clicking **Play game**, a QR code will appear on your computer screen.\ Point your phone’s camera at the code and tap the link that appears. This will open EthXY in your mobile browser.

When the page opens on your phone, you’ll be asked to **Add to Home Screen**.\ Confirm this step to save EthXY as an app icon on your phone. This icon will be your entry point to the game.

Tap the EthXY icon on your phone’s home screen to open the game.

On the login screen: 1. Enter your email address in **Enter Email to Start**. 2. Check the box **I Agree with the Terms of Service**. 3. Tap **Send Login Code**. A 6-digit code will be sent to your email. Copy it and paste it into the game to finish logging in.

Finally, enable **notifications** so you don’t miss important updates.

#### Step 3 — The Farm After logging in, the first screen you’ll see is the **Farm**.\ This is where you plant and harvest crops such as **carrots, strawberries, grapes**, and more. * Each crop has a **cost, grow time, and return**. * At the beginning, you’ll have only a few slots available. * As you level up, **new slots unlock**, letting you plant more crops at the same time.

Here you can battle against powerful bosses: * **Arachnix** (the Sanguine) * **Grizzlemaw** (the Ferocious) Defeating these bosses is not just about survival — it’s how you earn valuable loot and mounts. * Defeat **Arachnix or Grizzlemaw 30 times** to unlock them as mounts.

* Raids drop **Tier 1 Loot** and **Tier 2 Loot**: * **Tier 1 Loot**: 9 items to collect * **Tier 2 Loot**: 12 items to collect * *(Tiers III, IV, and V will be added in the future)* * Loot can include cards, weapons, armor, and other cosmetic rewards.

#### Step 5 — Gold The **Gold** tab is where you manage in-game currency and transactions.

Here you’ll find: * **Skins** → cosmetic appearances for your character. There are **25 skins** to choose from.

Both **skins** and **Tier I/II loot items** are represented by unique cards. Each card can be visualized in **3D**, allowing you to see the item you’ve acquired in detail. *Here below you can see an example — click to see the card 👇* {% file src="/files/0LY5UGwEKxOsnUUSZOyD" %} * **Credit** → exchange options between Gold and other currencies. * Example: transfer **1,000 Gold** for **10 credits (ETH equivalent)**. * **$SEXY** → purchase **10,000 Gold** for **50 $SEXY**. When you do this, you also open a **mystery box** that contains loot shards.

*This tab is your main hub for trading, buying, and managing Gold within the game.* **Step 6 — Loot** When you win loot in rallies or raids, you receive **loot cards** instead of the full equipment directly. * Each piece of equipment requires **4 specific cards** (A, 2, 3, 4). * Example: *Stormedge Skullsplitter* requires cards **A, 2, 3, and 4**. * If you only have one or two cards, the equipment will **not yet appear in your inventory**. * You can check your progress: * Go to **“Raids”** in the interface. * Scroll down to see the equipment list and which cards you already own. ⚠️ Important: The card itself disappears from the display once claimed, but it still counts toward your collection. Once all 4 cards are collected, the equipment is automatically added to your inventory.

#### Step 7 — Char The **Char** tab is where you manage and upgrade your hero.

* **Attributes** → train your character’s **Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Stamina** using $SEXY and time. * **Tagline** → edit the personal phrase displayed above your character. * **Gear & Skins** → equip gear, apply skins, and mount unlocks. *This is the central place to customize your hero’s look and progression for battle.* #### Step 8 — Bandit

The **Bandit** tab introduces competitive farming and PvP encounters. * Normally, when transporting your harvest to the **Market**, you might face enemies like the Bear. * With Bandit Mode, you can also encounter **other players online** instead of just beasts. * If you win the battle, you continue to the Market and sell your crops. If you lose, your harvest is stolen. *In this mode, you don’t fight alone. By training your **soldiers**, they join you in battle, increasing your strength and your chances to win loot from other players.* #### Step 9 — Town

The **Town** tab is the social hub of EthXY. * Players gather in a shared space, like a plaza. * You can **chat with others**, show off your **mounts**, and move around the map. * It’s a lobby where the community comes together, outside of farming and battles. #### Step 10 — Invites

The **Invites** tab lets you bring new players into the game. * Each player receives **5 invite codes**. * You can copy these codes and share them with friends or on social media. * If 5 friends join EthXY using your code, you unlock the special **Champagne Grape Seed** — a valuable crop that provides significant rewards when planted.
